Matthew Testa
Co-Owner / Director / Band Instruments
Matthew Testa (B.A. Music Education, Montclair State University)
is director of general music and band at Durban Avenue School in
Lake Hopatcong NJ. His duties include teaching private lessons
of all band/orchestra instruments, as well as general music.
He has taught in many other local studios including Robbie's
Music City and Menconi Music Studio.
Besides teaching, Matthew stays an active performer on both trumpet and electric bass. Credits include over 100 local shows with various ska and cover bands and a recent appearance on the Rachael Ray Show. Currently, he is playing with his cover band "Bedford Road", and his ska band "Hero Support".
He remains active as a freelance trumpet/bass player.
